On Marriage

I was struggling to cut a piece of cantaloupe from its rind.

“Man, my knives are really horrible.” – me

“I have nice knives. Why don’t you marry me, so you can use my knives?” – T

That’s as good a reason as any, right?

    N,
It’s pretty impossible to cook efficiently without sharp knives, so that sounds like a great gift!
    I’m glad LOYL understands now.

When LOML and I got married, my parents gave us (at my request) a knife sharpening kit (the Apex Edge Pro system). LOML at first didn’t appreciate this, until I had sharpened the knives a few times. Now it is clear that this was about the best gift we got!

I think so too. I think I’ll marry him. :-)
