Above the tags on the left, see that metal thing? That is my sewing machine needle, BROKEN. I felt a little proud when it snapped… I’ve never actually broken a machine needle before.
Can you tell I have been very busy? I am behind on writing Joyful Abode posts… I HAVE indeed been cooking, though writing everything up takes a while, and I don’t want to break my crafting streak. So for now I will keep teasing you with fun crafty photos.
I have a ton of photos to edit for Joyful Abode… but it may not happen for a little bit yet.

mub, I agree! Fray check is fantastic. Yes, I made them myself by printing on printable cotton poplin, then cutting and sealing the edges with Fray Check.
Wendy, thanks for the nice words. “Professional” is the direction I’m trying to go toward.
I did my images myself! The houses at the top of Joyful Abode are my original illustration. So no one did them for me, and I’m not borrowing it.
If you are a fan of my illustrations, you’ll like what I have coming up for the shop!
That’s awesome!!! I broke a few needles about a month ago and there is something strangely… happy about it! lol! I love your tags! You’re getting so professional! just out of curiousity is that image something someone did just for you or are you borrowing it? Just wondering since it’s going from more blog to commercial use it seems. Either way I’m just being nosy!
I really do love how professional it is though!
I have decided that Fray Check is one of the most magical tools you can have in your sewing arsenal! I love your tags, did you make them yourself?
