ERROR binding

Ten points to whoever can figure out what is wrong with this double fold binding. I made them all one night, and I must’ve been sleepy and not paying attention. Needless to say, I won’t be selling this…

I didn’t see this in November when you posted it, but it is easy to see the grain is straight, not cut on the bias. Too bad. :( But, I agree that it could be used on a straight project. Late at night, if I am sewing, I tend to make more mistakes too.

All your other projects and products look great. I like your style. Keep up the good work. As others have said, thanks for sharing. ;)

    Nope, Betsy… It’s double-folded.

Mub’s got it! It’s on the straight grain, not on the bias… when I sewed my “tube” together (so I can do continuous bias), I sewed the wrong edges together.

Now I’ll be super-careful never to let that happen again. *sigh*

Wendy, if I can ease it around the slight curves in my aprons, that will be great… but if not, I’ll save them for a straight project. *sighagain*

Well, if it’s any consolation it looks like you did a lovely job cutting them out on the grain ;)
