Karen-

White chocolate chips are much more difficult to melt. You need to melt them at a very low power for a short increments of time, only a few seconds at a time in the microwave. But this could take a while. Just keep the power level low and only leave them in for a few seconds at a time (10-15 max), stir, and repeat until melted. Also try adding a teaspoon of veg. oil the the chips. Also, as someone else mentioned, do not let any water get into the chips nor should you use a wooden spoon to stir since is soaks in moisture. Try using a rubber spatula instead.

if there is any water near in or around the white chocolate it will seize. if you are melting in a microwave melt on 50% power and melt in increments of about 20 seconds

How do i melt white chocolate chips? The bowl of white chocolate chips hardened so quickly, that it became un-usable. I tried to melt it again & it just got harder. Any tips?

Your pictures look deliiiish! Something that I do when I make these... I dip the pretzel rod in peanut butter and then the chocolate. Yummmm This is a little more time consuming. I smooth the peanut butter on the pretzel to make it look a little more finished. But overall well worth it =o)

these pretzles and marshmellos came out yummy. i made them for a christmas church fair. they were a huge hit. also, the marshmellos were a little more difficult because of the softness not firm like a pretzle, but they were a huge, huge hit. i put 3 on a pop stick and they were perfect. thanks for your help.
