I totally avoided the beach. I heard about people stepping outside and wheezing and coughing and having watery eyes... and didn't want to go there. Ohhh the red tide thing makes sense.

Those fish were victims of the red tide in the gulf from earlier december/january. We had over 20,000 fish of various species wash up on just one park beach. We also had several sea turtles, dolphins, and one pygmy sperm whale, sadly. Just one of the reasons you shouldn't fish during red tide!
