7 years today… happy anniversary!

I love you, and I’m happy to be your copilot.

Thank you for being by my side these past 7 years, even when we were far apart.

I’m looking forward to what the next 7 years brings us.

We’ve been married 7 months (and 3 days)… this is only the beginning of our adventure!

“Look to this day for it is life; the very life of life.
In its brief course lie all the realities and truths of existence,
the joy of growth, the splendour of action, the glory of power.
For yesterday is but a memory.
And tomorrow is only a vision.
But today well lived makes every yesterday a memory of happiness
and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore
to this day.”

    Congratualtions!

You are indeed a handsome couple.

My wife and I have been married for over 20 years. She is much, much younger than me, but I enjoy trying to keep up with her, though that’s not as easy as it used to be — even though her girth has expanded substantially.

Might an elder (me) (also, I have a PhD, if that interests you) offer a bit of advice? Do everything you can to maintain your girlish figure. A good diet is essential to this. Canned ham should only be an occassional treat.

    Best wishes, Chuck

Hi! I'm Emily. I'm a Navy wife and stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I cook simple, delicious, grain-free recipes, do crafts, decorate my home on a budget, and keep a happy household. I tandem breastfeed, babywear, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication, homebirth, and co-sleep, but I'm not a hippie.
