Lemon Pepper Pork

This was a VERY tasty dinner… also prepared in our humble hotel suite. we were lucky enough to have an oven in ours, but I’m sure this is adaptable to a stovetop or even a campfire if you’re looking for a camping recipe.

Sprinkle both sides of pork cutlets with lemon pepper seasoning.

Make a foil packet and put in: a little butter, a little olive oil, pork, a little butter, a little olive oil, some Worcestershire sauce.

Twist up the packets.

After about half an hour in a 400 degree oven, you’ll have a tender, deliciously flavored piece of meat.

I also made egg noodles and green beans with this… delicious dinner! And we already had all of the ingredients (yes, we moved our freezer contents with us).

See? Living in a hotel while we wait for our house to be ready isn’t that bad… PCSing doesn’t mean having to eat out every night, spending a fortune, and getting bloated!

I tried it with chicken thighs last night - it was heavenly. (We cooked it in the toaster oven to avoid heating up the place.) And we used the juices that cooked out of the chicken as some sauce for the egg noodles. This is definitely a keeper.
  • I love pork chops and I'm always looking for a new way to cook them so they stay moist. I will definitely add this recipe to my favorites!
