Brinner = breakfast for dinner

If you know much about me, you probably know that I LOVE the show Scrubs. And so does my guy.

And Turk in the show loves “brinner.” And so does my guy. According to them, when the stars align, you know it because brinner is on the table.

I love breakfast foods too, and because I rarely want to eat a big breakfast, brinner is a great way to fit in those foods. mmm…

Brinner in the hotel room = scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and bacon. Usually brinner for us also includes grits or pancakes or waffles. Sometimes yummy fruit too. Mmm!

    Mmmm!! I LOVE breakfast for dinner. Breakfast burritos are my favorite.

    When my daughter was 6 she coined the word “linner” which is a late lunch/early dinner. You know, when we go out to eat a big meal at 3:00 or so and are not going to eat agin for the day, that’s linner. :)

    Mmmm, brinner sounds tasty! Some of my favorite foods are breakfast foods. I love scrambled eggs my way, turkey bacon, and hot buttered toast – simple and tasty. (I love my scrambled eggs with a melted pat of butter to cook in, and a slice of Kraft American cheese folded in when the eggs are just starting to finish.) Sometimes I’ll bake some frozen hash browns, and instead of toast I’ll wrap all the ingredients in a flour tortilla.

    We typically have waffles, bacon, and eggs for “brinner”. That’s a great picture of the eggs. Looks delicious!

    Oh….we have not lived in VA before. In fact we haven’t even visited yet. Hopefully we will get a chance to drive up there soon.

    Have a great weekend!

    We LOVE Brinner, and even call it that!! (don’t watch scrubs tho… dd coined the term in our house several years ago.)

    We typically do either sausage burritos or whole grain yogurt pancakes for our brinner.

    Anne, biscuits are soooo good… you’re making me want to make some now! Too bad my flour is still in storage until the movers get it to us.

    Debbie, it sounds like you are a brinner NUT! All of your brinner selections sound delicious!

    Love the term “brinner,” it’s one I’ll have to remember.
    Let’s see, brocolli & cheddar cheese omelettes, in season fresh strawberry pancakes and whip cream, banana walnut panckaes and, and, and. As you can see, we love doing brinner!
