My husband got one for Christmas a couple years ago, and it is extremely handy! Your menu sounds delicious! Our Thanksgiving prep is pretty low key this year (especially for me since all I've done is watch the Macy's parade and hold the baby). Randy (the hubby) has made sweet potato and pecan pies, has some honey wheat bread loaves rising, and will be making yeast rolls later. Definitely invest in one of the Alton Brown type thermometers!
