This is a very easy yummy recipe I discovered when we were living in the CBQ while waiting for a house to open up on base. So it’s a repeat, but worth typing up again.
Basically you throw some pork cutlets into foil packets with some good stuff…
The good stuff is (pork sprinkled with) lemon pepper, a little butter, a little olive oil, and some Worcestershire sauce. Stick it in a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for about half an hour and this is what you’ll get:
Uh, yum.
This time I served it up with some Brussels sprouts… just frozen ones I cooked according to the package (basically boiling them for a few minutes).
This looks good, right?
Well how’s it look now? All that “good stuff” from the foil packet drizzled over everything… YUM.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Again.

Hi! I'm Emily. I'm a Navy wife and stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I cook simple, delicious, grain-free recipes, do crafts, decorate my home on a budget, and keep a happy household. I tandem breastfeed, babywear, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication, homebirth, and co-sleep, but I'm not a hippie.

Thanks for “reposting” this again… It looks delicious!! I LOVE packet meals because it allows each person to “individually personalize” their own meal… When we were kids my mom would make us lamb packets (we were a big lamb loving family… those Greek roots are showing, huh?) and we would choose what went in them: potatoes, tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc. That way we all were happy and didn't waste veggies by picking them out!!! I will definitely be trying this pork recipe: sounds great and pork is so much easier to find than lamb!!!! LOL

[...] one was super-easy, involving about 5 minutes of prep (no kidding). First I started the packet pork. Somehow I forgot that it was supposed to have lemon pepper though, so I just used salt and pepper. [...]
Tammy, if you do try it with chicken make sure to adjust the temperature and the cooking time, otherwise you’ll have pretty overcooked dried-out chicken!
It’s morning and now I’m hungry for dinner! Hahaha…this looks super yummy! Thanks for sharing…sorry it took a bit for me to get here…great blog!
OMG that looks so good! I’m definitely going to try that soon; perhaps with chicken instead.
mmmm that does look good… I’ve never had brussel sprouts though…
Looks delicious! I will have to try it!
