Yesterday morning we woke up, peeked out of the front door, and saw…

Snow?!
Last Friday one of my kids wore shorts!
Snow??

Zora’s first snow… she was so confused! She kept trying to smell it, would inhale some, then start sneezing. Then because it made her sneeze she would try to attack it by pouncing. I took a little video of her I’ll try to upload soon if you want to see.
If you don’t want to see it, I’ll probably upload it and post it anyway. HA!

Check out all of those tracks from her zooming around the yard.

I look crazed here… it’s really hard to smile normally and have your eyes open when light is bouncing all over the place! Hence the “I’m not blinking!” crazy-wide eyes and insane grin. The guy looks good though! Dog is squinting.

It’s hardly anything, but even this amount muffled everything and made it seem really quiet outdoors… soft and peaceful.

The sun broke through and everything had melted by about 10am. It was a quick bit of snow but I’d rather have a “tease” snow day like this than to get lots of snow, have it melt and re-freeze 10 times (which is what happens in the south… and ice is DANGEROUS. Way worse than snow) along with dirty mucky slush. One pretty white morning, and that’s it… is fine with me.
Now we can move on and get ready for the springtime!

What a lovely day!! Your crazed look means you were joyful *smiles* I could 100% visualize your pup behaving as she did because I had a cocker spaniel who was so silly in the snow. Thanks for the memory — made me smile in my heart!!
Such a cute dog! She must have been a riot in the snow!
Oh how wonderful! We had a rare snow day here in Houston in december and it was wonderful. It is always such a treat and so beautiful!
it was hot today then just started raining and was super windy… no snow though!
Yay! Snow! I haven’t seen snow since I moved from MS about 8 years ago. And that was the first time Oxford, MS had seen snow in about 10 years. It looked about like yours and it was so exciting. I miss snow!
Wow, girl, you guys actually had the snow stick! We had snow showers–but it was 36 out, so they just came down so pretty.
I was told it was the first snow in SE AL since 1993. That is crazy! (I miss snow.)
