I had planned to make something totally different for dinner, but I didn’t have one of my pantry staples required to make it (whoa!)… so I went on a random fling-stuff-into-a-pot extravaganza.
- Cooked macaroni noodles
- Cut-up Turkey Pepperoni
- Leftover broccoli, cut into small pieces and steamed
- Jalapeno peppers, chopped
- Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
The sauce was simple… Velveeta “cheese” melted with some milk while stirring. I just added milk or more Velveeta until the consistency seemed “right.” A thin but not runny sauce.
It was really really tasty, and the leftovers got even spicier overnight. Yum!

Hi! I'm Emily. I'm a Navy wife and stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I cook simple, delicious, grain-free recipes, do crafts, decorate my home on a budget, and keep a happy household. I tandem breastfeed, babywear, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication, homebirth, and co-sleep, but I'm not a hippie.

Normally I don’t put “stuff” in my mac and cheese… but this was really good.
I loooove Ree’s blog. I totally commiserate with the envy you feel!
Mmm, I love mac and cheese, especially with add-ins.
Btw, if you haven’t been to The Pioneer Woman’s blog, and I’m sure you probably have, you should. I envy her life.
