“Ice Cream Sandwiches” – 150 calories

If you’re cutting calories or trying to eat low-fat foods, you’re probably looking for snacks for 150 calories or fewer to enjoy this summer.

Here’s an “ice cream sandwich” with 150 calories for a pretty large portion.

Thaw some Cool Whip Free on the counter for a little while so it gets soft. You’ll need almost a whole tub, to go with a box of cinnamon graham crackers. Also, cling wrap should be nearby.

Put a cracker on a bit of cling wrap, and top with 3-4 Tbsp of the cool whip.

yummy

Top with another graham cracker.

yummy

And press down lightly.

yummy

Wrap the sandwiches tightly with the cling wrap, and store in the freezer. Don’t eat them right away… if you wait a few days, the graham crackers will get soft the way ice cream sandwich cookies are soft. Enjoy!

yummy

Yum, that does look like a tasty recipe. I will try it for sure. You read my mind – more foods with less calories that are filling. I'm having a hard time finding these things.

Oh, these look so good. I was going to ask if the crackers get soft like an ice cream sandwich, and now that I know they will, I am definitely making these. Thanks!
