For these smooth addictive (be careful!) summertime treats, you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp whole milk
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp instant coffee granules
- 4 Popsicle molds
Although my Popsicles were a little on the not-full side, so depending on the size of your molds, you may or may not need to increase the recipe a tad. I’ll need to increase it a bit next time, which I’ll do by adding more cream, milk, and cocoa.
Measure the cream into a bowl…
Then add milk…
Maple syrup… though if you have something against it I’m sure you can sweeten with stevia or truvia or honey or whatever it is that you personally prefer.
… and cocoa powder.
Then dump in the instant coffee.
Ready? Set…
…whisk!
Then pour into your popsicle modes, and add the cap/sticks. I’m sure you can use little dixie cups with popsicle sticks in them if you want.
After they’re frozen, enjoy! I ran some water on the outside of my popsicle molds so the very outside would soften and they would slide out easily.
These were so good! I think it would also make a great ice-creamy dessert if we just froze it in bowls rather than Popsicle molds. It’s practically fluffy since it’s a bit whipped…so good. Let me know what you think if you try it!

Really informative blog article.Much thanks again….
Looks very good. Thank You
Loved these! I made a lighter version and it still was yummy. I used 1/2 cup of fat free cream instead of the heavy cream and 1% milk insteasd of whole milk. It made 3 popsicles for me. I think I will double the recipe next time. Thanks so much for sharing!
Oh no! I could be in trouble. Anything frozen is at the top of my list.
Thanks. I’m going to try it soon.
