Daddy Daughter Reunion

My sweet guy came back from two and a half weeks of training in Florida yesterday. I was very excited to have him back, of course, and I loved seeing him reunite with our little girl. Two weeks isn’t very long to me, but to Anneliese, it was a third of her life!

I dressed her up in this sweet sailor dress my stepmother sent to me.

She’s thinking, “Oh my! I look adorable! Check me OUT!”

And here’s her sweet dad seeing her again (as he loaded his luggage into the trunk).

And once she was in his arms, she didn’t take her eyes off of him for even a minute. Is there anything sweeter than a guy getting all gushy and snuggly over a baby?

I have followed your blog for a year or so and have been so excited to see your journey to being a new momma!! I have two little boys…soon to be 5 and 7 yrs old….!!! Time flies! I know everyone says this, but it really does! Seems like last week they were Anneliese's age! Love the name by the way and she's adorable!! Good luck and looking forward to hearing the adventures you have in being a momma!!

Hi! I'm Emily. I'm a Navy wife and stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I cook simple, delicious, grain-free recipes, do crafts, decorate my home on a budget, and keep a happy household. I tandem breastfeed, babywear, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication, homebirth, and co-sleep, but I'm not a hippie.
