This is a compensated review by BlogHer and HomeGoods.
What Is It?
HomeGoods is a store where you can find all sorts of items for your home – décor, kitchen things, even some furniture!
My Thoughts:
I had never actually been to a HomeGoods stand-alone store, but always loved the décor section in the back of TJMaxx, so I was really excited to have the opportunity to check out a whole store of that! It’s not somewhere to go when you need a specific thing. I went hoping to find a griddle and an olive oil bottle for our new house for when we move – little Christmas present for ourselves – but didn’t find either one. But it’s a great place to go when you want to spend some time looking around, browsing, and maybe find a treasure or two. I doubt there’s anyone who wouldn’t find something they love in HomeGoods since there is such variety in the selection of items there, so it would also be a great place to find gifts.

My husband and I went together last week and found several things we liked. The pound and roll tower is a Christmas present for Anneliese, though she probably won’t be able to play with it until Spring. (There were lots of other Melissa and Doug toys and puzzles there! Love them!) The Lindor truffles are for our stockings, since we both love dark chocolate. Sea salt and Vanilla extract are for our kitchen since we are low on both (though we’re making a new batch of vanilla extract now). And the beautiful bamboo cutting board is for us, as a housewarming gift since we’re moving soon.

I would love some home decor
I just love Home Goods!! I am giving my step-mom and mother-in-law (on different sides of the family) the same beautiful turquoise sweater with a flower applique. I would like to receive some cozy new pajamas and slippers! Thanks!
Love home Goods for unique containers for my handmade gifts. I plan on giving homemade rose lavender sachets, artwork, and handmade jewelry. I hope to receive some cozy sweaters in my favorite colors of navy, dark pink, and cream, and some gift cards from the local craft stores!

I have been so bad at Christmas this year and I haven’t been able to tell anyone what I want because I don’t know! I have been searching for the perfect gift for my dad and still do’nt know what to get him either.

I’d love to find the perfect gift for my dear MIL, she has a great eye for style. Myself, I’m in dire need of a new teapot, and I’d like to get a new electric kettle to speed up that first cuppa in the morning!
And thank you, and a very merry First Christmas to Baby A! I have sweet memories of rocking my baby to sleep by the Christmas tree.
I am actually giving very little this year… but am making handmade baked goods in cute containers. I usually find super cute little bowls and plates at Ross to put treats on, and little chocolate packages and such!
I got some cool Audrey Hepburn coasters for my daughter at Ross… she’s going to be super excited.

I’m still trying to find a good deal on a decanter style coffee maker for my Dad and Stepmom, and a good convection/toaster oven for my Mom and Stepdad!
I hope to get my Christmas China that I have wanted for years! And maybe a new sweater too!

I have stopped buying gifts for everyone the past few years. It just gets so hectic, and no one in my family really NEEDS anything – and it just becomes a “buy something just to buy something” holiday, which I dislike. So, I bake. I bake a lot – cookies, cupcakes, muffins, candy, bread, etc. I make baskets of goodies for everyone in my family. I spend a little bit less money, and a lot more heart and time!
I found lots of Thomas stuff for my son, and baby girl is getting socks and a Sophie. Hubby is getting usual stuff. And I hope I get a camara lens I have had my eye on.
We bought everything to decorate our office where I work at Homegoods. Everyone loves it and we felt so proud of ourselves! I just love that place!
Love Homegoods! Always find great stuff there!!
Love HomeGoods. We previously purchased a beautiful area rug from there and a cake plate covered with shamrocks for St. Patrick’s day. I’m looking for the home made crafty looking gifts for people and hope everyone does the same to me. I love the look of home made even if they didn’t do it!
I am shopping for things to decorate the new baby’s room! I’m sure I would find something perfect at HomeGoods. For myself, I would like a cozy throw blanket.

I come from a long line of TJMaxx / HomeGoods shoppers – you can find such great things! I am crafty and enjoy making gifts for people – but there’s just not enough time to do that. So I’m planning to fill in with some accessories – running socks / hiking socks, NFL gear. I would love to get some new boots for going out in the snow with my 3 year old.

I am hoping to get my son a train table for Christmas, but I have no idea where we’ll put it. We have a tiny house. I’m hoping to get a new watch and some sassy new boots. But we’ll see!
I hoping to find fun gifts for my Kids. I hope I get scrapbooking goodies.
Thanks for the chance
I truly LOVE The Home Goods store! We don’t have one super local, but I have traveled the little bit to shop there. I could spend every dollar I have at that place. Anyway…on to the answer to your question: I am hoping to find a gift for my father, that he’ll really love. I just don’t know what it is yet…that’s why I need to find it! He is so low maintenance and content with so little. He’s a tough one. I am hoping I will know it when I see it. Maybe it’s at the Home Goods Store! : )
I would buy some baking pans for my mom, and I’m hoping to unwrap some new sheets!
I want to get my Mom a day at the salon. I’d like a new pair of nice jeans.
I’m hoping to find my daughter a nice pair of flats. I hope I get a new wallet (filled with hundreds would be nice!)
Still trying to find something for my dad, though I don’t know what. Hoping I’ll get some of my favorite running socks under the tree
My daughter wants to redo her bedroom in a more grown-up look; I love the selection of comforters and accessories at Homegoods. I found the perfect lamp for her room there years ago. I new bed comforter is one of the things she asked for this Christmas. For me, I’m hoping for some new bakeware, especially cookie sheets..mine are ready for the trash.
This year I am shopping for music and gourmet food, and hoping to receive gift cards.
I bought a great rug from HomeGoods a few months back.
This year I’m shopping for music and gourmet food, and hoping to get some jewelry and hair accessories.

I’ve been to one or two HomeGoods stores in my neighborhood (atlanta area) and have liked their selection. Would love to find a special bowl or plate for my mom and M-I-L; Not sure what I’m hoping to unwrap (extra sleep is hard to wrap up).
Maybe a cute Sweater or new pair of pants. – Dagmar
Oooh – we do need new bedside lamps in our bedroom.
I love love HomeGoods already… I have been searching mostly for a gaming system this year, so isn’t much help with this comment. BUT, I’d love to unwrap one of the cute bedside tables from HomeGoods for Christmas – I already have 1 for the other side of the bed.
