This is a compensated review by BlogHer.
BlogHer asked me to poke around their site and tell you what I like about it! So here goes:
My favorite section at the moment is the Conferences part. Why? Oh, that’s because I bought my ticket for BlogHer 2011!!! (If you want to go too, buy before December 31, and use code BlogHerGift for 20% off.) I’m in the process of looking for a sponsor, and I’m VERY excited to make the trip in August. I’m not sure how to get myself on the Attendees list though…
The front page has been redesigned recently, and I honestly find it a bit overwhelming. There’s just SO MUCH on it… great articles from different BlogHer writers, links to the most popular posts, meetups, and more. The menu at the top will let you choose a topic that’s interesting to you.
Of course, Home and Garden appeals to me, so I clicked over, and I love list posts, so checked out 10 Great Gifts for Cooks (you can get me the silicone spoons and the sous vide!).
Then I clicked over to Food, where I found a link to this drool-inducing recipe. Holy Yum, Batman!
Then I tried to find my blog in the blog directory, but it’s not there. Does anyone see where I can add it? I guess I have to do it manually even though I’m in the ad network and the reviewer program? Oh… I looked in the FAQ and found out how.
There’s also lots of good stuff to win on BlogHer (hosted by bloggers like me!), including an awesome iPad giveaway this week. Oh man, I hope I win it.
Visit this week’s Sweepstakes post on BlogHer.com The contest is open to US and Canadian Residents (except Quebec) who are 18 or older and is running today through Sunday, December 26th.
Next week’s sweeps is for a full conference pass to the just-announced BlogHer Food in Atlanta!

I really want to go to BlogHer food. I’m hoping I’ll be able to go because Atlanta isn’t too far from here.
