This post brought to you by Avocados from Mexico. All opinions are 100% mine.
So yeah, I’m analytical and follow directions (or, if I don’t follow them, at least I know what they are and chose to do something different). I love my kitchen – cookbooks, not so much (I have fewer than 10 and only occasionally refer to them). I wouldn’t call myself a loner, but I do prefer to have a few close friends over a hundred acquaintances.

Chips and guacamole is (are?) awesome party food… but I actually like it on burgers. Yum!
And my ideal mate? Yeah, my husband has done a lot of grocery shopping, and he knows EXACTLY what to get.
Pretty right-on quiz results! And the recipe they linked me to sounds great other than the cilantro. I hate cilantro. I wish I liked it, but I don’t. I hate it with a passion… it really is a genetic thing that makes it taste like squished stink bugs or soap to some people.
Sometimes I make super-simple guacamole – just mushed avocado, lime juice, and garlic salt. If I’m getting fancier I’ll put in tomatoes, peppers, some other stuff. But simple is great too.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know about this guac rocks sweepstakes that’s going on right now on the Avocados from Mexico Facebook page (12/28 – 1/28). The prizes sound pretty good to me:
- (2) Grand Prizes – Two “Fly Away” tickets for a special getaway that’s sure to rock! ($1,500 value) – Er, I’d like to know where the tickets are taking me… Mexico would be appropriate. And it would be so fun to go on a trip.
- (3) First Place Prizes- $100 in free groceries to help stock up for your next party! – always useful
- (80) Second Place Prizes – $20 coupon good for Avocados from Mexico, the secret ingredient that makes ur Guac Rock! –lots of avocados from Mexico just for me, since my husband developed an allergy to them. Poor thing.
So I’m curious to know what the other quiz results are – let me know what they say if you get something different!
