I found this shower curtain on clearance from O.R.E. Originals and knew I had to buy it for Anneliese. She LOVES letters. I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it at first, but I thought maybe we would use it for a messy outdoor activity, like shaving cream painting or something.
Anneliese only takes baths, never showers, so if I used it in her bathroom as a shower curtain, no one would ever see it. We’d have to shove it out of the way all the time in order to give her her baths, and it would just be annoying.
Sooooo… I put a tension rod along the back wall of the bathroom/tub, higher than a normal shower curtain would be hung so that the bottom edge was completely above the tub. Add some curtain rings and the shower curtain and, voila! Shower curtain becomes a bath backdrop!
Anneliese is a fan.
(I took this photo with my handy clip-on fisheye lens on my iPhone! I LOVE it.)

I'm a Navy wife and stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I cook simple, delicious, grain-free recipes, do crafts, decorate my home on a budget, and keep a happy household. I tandem breastfeed, babywear, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication, homebirth, and co-sleep, but I'm not a hippie.

Nice one! Our child is only 8 month old at this point, so we will wait a bit on the spelling part
Super cute! What is she wearing in th tub?
She is wearing her bathing suit. She was playing in her baby pool outside but it was too windy and chilly so we came in. At bath time she wanted to keep it on.
