This weekend, my mother visited us all the way from South Carolina.
Anneliese was timid at first, but she was won over with some new books.
…and Joseph was happy to have another Grown-Up to cuddle with.
We played in the sun…
…and splashed in the water…
…and as always, there was lots of cuddle-nursing.
Anneliese learned quickly that Nona would read to her pretty much nonstop if she asked nicely.
Joseph was pretty much awake the entire weekend – too excited for naps.
Anneliese was exuberant as always.
…and last night, we wrapped things up with cuddly snuggles…
…more books OF COURSE…
… and bye-bye to Nona, till next time.
