20 Chore Tuesday–At Home!

Tuesdays happen to be my “meeting days”… I usually have a babywearing play date, parenting meeting, La Leche League meeting, or other moms+kids get-together. Tomorrow I’m staying HOME. I have a lot to catch up on, and I’m hoping a 20 chore Tuesday at home will help me.

  1. Empty dishwasher
  2. Breakfast for kiddies
  3. Wash breakfast dishes
  4. Prep Lact-aids for the day
  5. Outside play
  6. Put away laundry
  7. Clean kitchen
  8. Make meal plan for the next 2ish weeks (the last grocery trip was expensive because we were out of several staples, so I can’t go shopping next week except for bare minimum basics… probably just bananas).
  9. Craft project with Anneliese. Maybe painting.
  10. Photograph and list cosleeper and rock & play for sale locally.
  11. Tidy bedroom.
  12. Tidy Anneliese’s bedroom.
  13. Change master sheets, & wash.
  14. Change Anneliese sheets, & wash.
  15. Go through toy closet for #Give500
  16. Go through Anneliese’s closet for #Give500
  17. Clean laundry room/area
  18. Dust living room
  19. Dust dining room and clean table really really well.
  20. Clean kitchen again before bed, for real.

Bonus #21. Sometime in the day, take the kids to buy candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters, and some pumpkins. I added toys to my shopping cart on Amazon but didn’t actually check out… thought I did, but last night I realized I didn’t. So now it’s too late. Candy it is.

This all sounds like normal stuff I should do every day (most of it) anyway… but like I said, I’m a bit behind. Am I a bit behind every Tuesday? Maybe…

So what’s on your to do list today?

YAY for getting stuff ready for give500! I seriously just got rid of over a hundred books from undergrad and graduate school! feels good to have them being passed along to someone else who can use them!

  3. You’re looking great on the #Give500 progress. Mine is a little slower but I brought tons of books to the coffee roaster I work at and gave them away to folks prepping for the Hurricane looking for a good book to curl up with! It was a great way to get rid of a bunch at once….

It’s a bit chilly here in Central Florida but we’ll be heading outside today too! After such a long summer I don’t mind bundling up a bit. Good luck with your list!

Hi! I'm Emily. I'm a Navy wife and stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I cook simple, delicious, grain-free recipes, do crafts, decorate my home on a budget, and keep a happy household. I tandem breastfeed, babywear, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication, homebirth, and co-sleep, but I'm not a hippie.
