I know the scarf is supposed to go with the "professional" hat but this is so much cuter and still has the shell edging! Me and my sister are very "bohemian" so this will be awesome. Oh and I LOVE the yoga-mat bag! I lost my yoga-mat in my recent move from PA to WA, but when I get another one I am def making that bag! (I also have to find a yoga group/class out here grr...) Work into ring: dc ch 2. 4 ps. Sl st to join. The first part (the ch 3, then dc and ch 2) is essentially 1 pattern stitch. So there ends up being 5 pattern stitches in the first round. I know I should be able to do the math but I keep confusing myself. If it is four ps in that first round--then shouldn't the fifth round be 1ps in next 3 stitches and then the increase? I did it a bit loosely so it's a little big, but still looks great. A bit warm to wear for a while yet, though. It's a perfect project for a left over half skein of yarn of any color really.
