		<description>I'm so glad I found your blog!  I am always looking for inspiration to be more crafty and domestic in my own home.  I've read somewhere about making your own vanilla extract, but those directions called for Vodka.  

Since this uses rum, I wonder....how would one make their own flavored rums?  (I know you can buy them, but I wonder if buying the liquor store brand silver rum and adding vanilla or coconut, etc, would be the same thing?  Liquor store brand rum is cheaper than the name brand, flavored rums!)</description>
