I live in Canada and saw the chocolate covered marshmallows being sold by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory who has a big vendors stall at the Victoria BC Ferry Terminal. They sold 4 chocolate covered marshmallows - decorated in a variety of ways from crushed nuts, to pretty-pretties on a wooden skewer. They were selling one stick of 4 marshmallows for $5.95. I thought this was a crazy price but I guess they must sell or they wouldn't be there. I'm thinking of trying to make some myself and sell them at a Christmas Craft fair this year. Any ideas from anyone? Do I need to wrap them somehow to keep them fresh? - not sure where I would find skinny celephane sleeves that don't cost too much. Just wondering where to store the final product and how far ahead I would be able to make them. Do I store them covered or uncovered - refrigerated or not?? Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Great, Joanna! I hope your party guests love them. :)
I'm not positive about the shelf life, but you can definitely make them a day or two in advance and store them in an airtight container.

Lisa, we left ours out in a bowl, and by the end they were getting a little stale, so I'd suggest an airtight container. Room temperature is good. If you refrigerate them, you run the risk of getting condensation on them which will make the pretzels soggy, so don't do that!

Anj, I got chocolates made for dipping from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. But I've also used chocolate chips and they work fine too!
