I have been searching for a great hummous recipe.

These look very tasty.

My hummous-loving preschooler will fall on her head when I make something fresh for her.

Thanks!

Add a salad and this could be my dinner! I love hummus and anything with olives. I also make my own pita chips. You can eat so many more that way...not so much fat. I brush mine with a little olive oil and sprinkle with a little coarse salt. I look forward to the tapenade recipe. YUM!

Yours looks SO SMOOTH. How did you do that? Mine always has these unappetizing little chickpea skins floating around because they somehow missed the blade. I've used a food processor, regular blender, and an immersion blender to try and get the smooth smooth dippiness like yours shows.

And also: roasted eggplant in the hummus. YUM.

My recipe is similar but I like to add a tsp of cumin and about twice that much tahini. Then I drizzle the top with olive oil and drop some really good kalamatas on top and serve it with pitas, peeled cukes and sliced tomatoes. We love "Yummus Hummus"! (great name!)
