Small business owners are welcome to purchase advertising space on Joyful Abode. I love supporting other independent designers by promoting their businesses.
Why should I advertise in Joyful Abode?
Joyful Abode is growing! I have over 250 300 340 430 subscribers who read site content regularly, along with hundreds of unique visitors a day. Lately, the site has had about 800 1000 unique visits per day. Your ad will appear on every page on the website, so that’s close to over a thousand views for your ad each day!
In addition to great exposure and branding (the more people see your ad, the more likely they are to remember your business), I will write about each sponsor in a post at Joyful Abode during the month in which they advertise. This could include information about the sponsor, my favorite products, linking to the sponsor’s blog, or whatever I feel like writing. It will be written in a positive editorial tone, and will not be tagged as “a sponsored post.” Click here for examples of these features.
Where will my ad be displayed?
Your advertisement will be prominently displayed in the top of the right sidebar on every page in the joyfulabode.com domain. Except for the top spot ad, sponsors’ images will shuffle randomly to allow everyone equal placement at the top, middle, and bottom of the sidebar.
How much do ads cost?
Top spot ads are available for $50 each month. These ads are the larger size and do not rotate. One is available per month.
Regular ads are $25 per month.
Large ads are $35 per month.
How long will my ad run?
Prices are for one month — from the first day of the month until the last day. Please contact me before the month in which you hope to run your ad, so that it’s ready to go up on the 1st. If you need your ad up NOW, please contact me about sending you an invoice for the rest of the current month (prorated) as well as the full next month.
What size should my ad be?
All ads are 125 pixels in width.
Top spot and large ads are 200 pixels in height.
Regular ads are 125 pixels in height.
What if I don’t have an ad banner?
No problem! Check out these talented independent graphic designers on etsy, and find one whose aesthetics match yours.
